Along with first class facilities of indoor and outdoor venues comes an array of activities including sixty miles of beaches more than 100 golf courses, outlet, malls and specialty shopping along with exciting attractions and amusement parks for all ages. Seven live entertainment theaters, Mini-golf, aquariums, museums, watersport activities and more than 1,800 restaurants featuring some of the most savory Carolina coastal cuisine. A mild average temperature of 740 F, with an average of 215 sunny days each year. Any time of year — spring, summer, fall or winter — is the perfect time for a sporting event in Myrtle Beach.
After much anticipation, the Myrtle Beach area now has a 100,000-square-foot indoor sports facility that has helped expand sports tourism. The $12.4 million facility now in its 3rd season is located adjacent to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The Myrtle Beach Sports Center includes eight basketball courts or 16 volleyball courts, spread over 72,000 square feet of column-free hardwood space. The venue has been designed to host court sports, wrestling, gymnastics, table tennis, pickle ball, and other sports events as well as trade shows. To service the event space, there are seven team rooms, telescopic bleachers, a private mezzanine for elevated viewing, and a café with indoor/outdoor seating.

The Myrtle Beach Sports Center is walking distance to the beach and has 3000 hotel rooms with in 1 mile of the complex.
