PUNTA GORDA/ENGLEWOOD BEACH, Fla. — The USA BMX Sunshine State Nationals are returning to Punta Gorda in 2020.
The three-day competition will take place from Oct. 23 to 25, at the Charlotte BMX track in Carmalita Park.

“It’s been five years since our last BMX National Qualifier and Charlotte BMX is extremely excited to be selected to host a USA BMX National in 2020,” said Amanda Carr, president of Charlotte BMX, who is also a professional BMX racer and Olympian.
“This event will massively benefit local businesses as well as our community, and we all look forward to hosting another National Qualifier in Charlotte County.”
All events for the 2020 competition will be held at Charlotte BMX, 2505 Carmalita St., Punta Gorda, Fla. Updated event information can be found on the track’s website at www.charlottebmx.net.
