TEMPE, Ariz. — Super League Triathlon will hit America for the first time when it arrives in Tempe, Ariz., next May for its third of five qualifiers.
The triathlon will take part at Tempe Town Lake, then weave its way around Tempe Beach Park for the bike and run courses. Alongside the pro races, which will feature the Sprint Enduro on May 22 and the Triple Mix on May 23, age group competitors will closely mirror the pro format. Junior Sprint Enduro racing will also be offered.
Other events during the 2020 Qualifier Series will be in Bali, Indonesia; Salinas, Ecuador; Poznan, Poland; and Ottawa, Canada.
“America is the next obvious step for the Super League calendar,” said Super League senior events director Michael Brown. “We can’t wait to bring SLT to the doorstep of some of the most engaged fans in the world, and Tempe is the perfect location to do that.”
